The Colorado Grand is proud to be honoring our commitment to sports and race cars of distinction by celebrating 50th anniversary of the Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7. The RS 2.7 was the fastest German production car of its day and is the first series production model with front and rear spoilers. The rear spoiler design gave it the “duck tail” nick name. The most powerful model of the first generation of the 911 was the first to carry the Carrera title. The car’s 2.7-liter flat-six fuel-injected engine produced a powerful 210 HP at 6,300 rpm. This enabled it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds, making the 911 Carrera RS 2.7 the first production car to break the six-second mark.
The Colorado Grand will be accepting a limited number of these vehicles for our 2023 event only. Please note that the RSR variation is not eligible. Applicants should supply a second vehicle option due to the limited spaces available.
